Yangxueqing Jiang

Yangxueqing Jiang is a PhD candidate in the School of Medicine and Psychology at the Australian National University, where Jiang also completed a Bachelor of Philosophy (Honours) in Science in 2019. Jiang's research focuses on misinformation and conspiracy theories, with work examining how repeated exposure to false claims affects belief, how counterattitudinal alignment can protect against the illusory truth effect, and approaches to causal inference in misinformation research. Additional work has explored physiological methods, including skin and blood flow signals, for detecting false news belief.
