advances.in/psychology is an online-only journal with continuous publication. Each article is published online as soon as it is ready, usually within a few days to a few weeks after acceptance, and receives a DOI and an article number. There are no print issues.
Volumes. In the journal’s first years, when publication numbers were lower, each volume covered two years: Volume 1 (2022–2023) and Volume 2 (2024–2025). In 2026, the journal changed to one volume per calendar year, and volume numbering restarted with this format: articles published in 2026 appear in Volume 1 (2026). The change took effect with articles published from December 2025; the one article published that month appears in Volume 1.
