To sustain this publishing model, we request authors to pay an article processing charge of $1950 upon acceptance of their manuscript as a research article, review, or research report. For commentaries, the article processing charge is $450. As an author, you retain the copyright of your work, while granting us the non-exclusive right to publish it under the CC-by open access license.
In contrast to many other journals, by paying the article processing charge, you not only contribute to open science but also help support your academic community by financially compensating your colleagues, including yourself, for their valuable editing and reviewing work.
