Jonas R. Kunst is Professor of Communication at BI Norwegian Business School and Professor of Cultural and Community Psychology at the University of Oslo, where Kunst has held positions since completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University in 2018. Kunst received a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Oslo in 2016, having previously earned an M.Phil. in Cultural, Community and Social Psychology and a B.A. in General Psychology from the University of Bergen. Research interests span acculturation and migrant adaptation, violent extremism, misinformation and conspiracy theories, and the psychological dimensions of artificial intelligence. Kunst serves as Editor-in-Chief of advances.in/psychology and as Consulting Editor for the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and is a Fellow of both the Association for Psychological Science and the Society of Experimental Social Psychology, having received the Janet Taylor Spence Award and the Rising Star designation from the Association for Psychological Science.
