Jonas R. Kunst is Professor of Communication at BI Norwegian Business School and Professor of Cultural and Community Psychology at the Department of Psychology, University of Oslo. Kunst received a B.A. in General Psychology from the University of Bergen, an M.Phil. in Cultural, Community and Social Psychology from the University of Oslo, and a PhD in Social Psychology, also from the University of Oslo, in 2016, after which Kunst held postdoctoral positions at the University of Oslo and Yale University. Research interests span acculturation and migrant adaptation, misinformation and conspiracy theories, violent extremism, and the psychological dimensions of artificial intelligence. Kunst serves as Editor-in-Chief of advances.in/psychology and as Consulting Editor for the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and has received the Janet Taylor Spence Award and the Rising Star designation from the Association for Psychological Science.
