Jonas R. Kunst

Jonas R. Kunst is Professor of Communication at BI Norwegian Business School and Professor of Cultural and Community Psychology at the University of Oslo. Kunst received a PhD in Social Psychology from the University of Oslo in 2016 following earlier degrees in psychology from the same institution and the University of Bergen. Kunst's research examines misinformation and conspiracy theories, acculturation, violent extremism, and the psychological implications of artificial intelligence, with work published in leading journals including Science, Nature Communication, PNAS, and Psychological Science. Kunst serves as Editor-in-Chief of advances.in/psychology and Consulting Editor for the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, and holds fellowships with the Association for Psychological Science and the Society for Experimental Social Psychology, along with recognition through the Janet Taylor Spence Award and Rising Star designation from the Association for Psychological Science.
