Yara Kyrychenko is a psychologist at the Department of Psychology, University of Cambridge, with a background in mathematics and psychology from New York University and a PhD in Psychology from Cambridge. Kyrychenko's research focuses on misinformation susceptibility, the psychological mechanisms underlying social media engagement and polarization, and the emerging risks posed by artificial intelligence systems to democratic processes and information integrity.
