William Cipolli is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Colgate University, a position held since 2016. Cipolli holds a BS in Computer Science and a BA in Mathematics from Quinnipiac University, as well as an MS and PhD in Statistics from the University of South Carolina, where Cipolli also worked as a Graduate Assistant in Statistics between 2012 and 2016. Research interests span Bayesian nonparametric methods, including work on Polya trees and multiple testing, alongside applied collaborations in political psychology, racial discrimination, and economic inequality.
