Vladimir Ponizovskiy is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Durham University since 2023, with a concurrent affiliation at the Faculty of Psychology, Ruhr University Bochum. Ponizovskiy's research examines the psychological foundations of political attitudes, collective action, and value-based behavior across cultural contexts, with particular expertise in authoritarianism, propaganda, and the dynamics of conflict and resistance in authoritarian states.
