Tomasz Besta is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Psychology, University of Gdansk, where he has held positions since 2010. Besta completed a PhD in psychology at the Polish Academy of Sciences in 2010 and received a habilitation from the University of Gdansk in 2018. Research in this profile centers on political radicalization, adolescent political alienation, and collective action, with additional work on intergroup violence, gender beliefs across cultures, and the psychological predictors of radical group behavior.
