Marta Miklikowska is a researcher in the Department of Psychology at Linnaeus University and is affiliated with the Institute for Globally Distributed Open Research and Education in Gothenburg. Miklikowska received a PhD in Developmental Psychology from Åbo Akademi Vasa in 2012, after which Miklikowska held a postdoctoral fellowship at Örebro University before moving to Umeå University, where Miklikowska worked as a researcher from 2017 to 2023. Miklikowska's work spans adolescent development, intergroup relations, and the socialization of attitudes toward immigrants, with additional work on political radicalization, youth political engagement, and the role of parents, peers, and schools in shaping tolerance and empathy. More recent publications address researcher mental health and working conditions in academia.
