Marta Miklikowska

Marta Miklikowska is a researcher in the Department of Psychology at Linnaeus University and is also affiliated with the Institute for Globally Distributed Open Research and Education in Gothenburg. Miklikowska received a PhD in social-developmental psychology from Åbo Akademi in Vasa in 2012, after which Miklikowska held a postdoctoral fellowship at the Justice and Peace Studies unit at Örebro University before moving to Umeå University, where Miklikowska worked as a researcher from 2017 to 2023. Miklikowska's research addresses the development of prejudice, anti-immigrant attitudes, empathy, and intergroup relations across adolescence, with attention to the socializing roles of parents, peers, and schools. More recent work extends into political radicalization, political trust and alienation, and the mental health and working conditions of academic staff.
