Marta Miklikowska is a researcher in the Department of Psychology at Linnaeus University and is affiliated with the Institute for Globally Distributed Open Research and Education in Gothenburg. Miklikowska received a PhD in Social-Developmental Psychology from Åbo Akademi in Vasa in 2012, and subsequently held a postdoctoral fellowship at Örebro University before moving to Umeå University, where Miklikowska worked as a researcher from 2017 to 2023. Miklikowska's research addresses adolescent development, intergroup relations, and the formation of attitudes toward immigrants, with additional work on empathy, parenting, peer influence, and political socialization, including youth radicalization and political trust. More recent publications extend into researcher mental health and working conditions in academia.
