Oisín Ryan

Oisín Ryan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Data Science and Biostatistics at the Julius Centre, University Medical Centre Utrecht, where Ryan has worked since 2023. Ryan previously held a postdoctoral position in Methodology and Statistics at Utrecht University. Ryan's research interests span causal inference, dynamical systems modeling, network analysis, and intensive longitudinal data methods, with particular focus on applications to psychopathology, mental health treatment optimization, and emotion dynamics. Ryan's methodological work addresses challenges in cross-lagged models, time-interval selection, network construction from symptom data, and the recovery of within-person dynamics from psychological time series.
