Department of Psychology, University of Amsterdam

Lourens J. Waldorp is a researcher in the Department of Psychology at the University of Amsterdam, where work focuses on statistical methods for psychological networks, causal inference, and the formal modeling of psychopathology. Waldorp has published on topics including network inference, vector autoregressive models, graphical models, and the application of statistical physics to psychological network structures. Recent work addresses constraint-based and cyclic causal discovery, including the use of directed cyclic graphs and partial ancestral graphs to identify causal structure in psychological data. Waldorp has also contributed to theory construction methodology for network approaches in psychology and to Bayesian methods for comparing network structures across groups.
