Massimo Stella

Massimo Stella is a Senior Researcher at the Department of Psychology and Cognitive Science at the University of Trento, holding the position of Professore su chiamata diretta dall'Estero since 2023. Stella previously served as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Exeter from 2020 to 2022 and worked in consulting on complex systems from 2018 to 2020. Stella's research integrates cognitive network science, network psychometrics, and natural language processing to investigate mental health, emotional processes, and cognitive patterns in human populations and large language models, with particular expertise in text analysis, semantic framing, and machine learning approaches to psychological assessment.
