Dimitris I. Tsomokos

Dimitris I. Tsomokos is a researcher in the Department of Psychology and Human Development at the UCL Institute of Education, University College London. Tsomokos works on social cognition, developmental psychology, and mental health, with much of the published work examining how early-life environments, family relationships, and social experiences shape cognitive and psychological outcomes across childhood and adolescence. Recent publications have addressed interpersonal distrust, social safety schemas, prosocial behaviour, and the developmental pathways linking early adversity to adolescent mental health. Additional work spans chronotype, reward processing, brain development, and the role of neighbourhood and home environments in child outcomes.
