M. Asher Lawson

M. Asher Lawson is an Assistant Professor of Decision Sciences at INSEAD, where Lawson joined the faculty in 2022. Lawson received a PhD in Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University in 2022 and a BA in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford in 2018. Lawson's research spans decision-making, behavioral economics, and organizational behavior, with particular focus on misinformation, fake news sharing, leadership communication strategies, and the role of individual differences such as conscientiousness and political ideology in human judgment and decision-making. Lawson's published work examines topics including the gendered effects of communication strategies among leaders, economic attitudes and inequality perceptions, the psychology of radical uncertainty, and organizational outcomes associated with diversity in senior leadership.
