M. Asher Lawson is an Assistant Professor of Decision Sciences at INSEAD, a position held since 2022. Lawson completed a PhD in Business Administration at the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University, and holds a BA in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford. Research covers judgment and decision making, misinformation, and the spread of fake news, with additional work on organizational behavior, gender, and economic attitudes. Recent publications examine how conscientiousness and political ideology relate to the sharing of false information, as well as methodological questions in misinformation research more broadly.
