Gina Ligon

Gina Ligon is a professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where she is affiliated with NCITE (the National Counterterrorism Innovation, Technology, and Education Center). Ligon's research addresses leadership and violent extremism, with particular attention to how organizational and individual factors shape the lethality of terrorist groups. Much of this work draws on multilevel modeling to examine phenomena across different units of analysis within extremist organizations.
