Fanny Lalot is a senior researcher and Swiss National Science Foundation Ambizione group leader in the Centre for Social Psychology at the University of Basel, where Lalot has been based since 2021. Lalot completed a Ph.D. in Social Psychology at the University of Geneva in 2019, having also held a visiting scholar position at New York University in 2017 and 2018, and subsequently worked as a research associate at the University of Kent before returning to Basel. Lalot earned a Habilitation and Venia Docendi from the University of Basel in 2024. Research interests span attitude and behaviour change, political trust, collective action, moral behaviour, and pro-environmental engagement, with much of the empirical work drawing on longitudinal and cross-national data.
