Evelien Snippe

Evelien Snippe is a researcher affiliated with the University Medical Center Groningen and the University of Groningen, where Snippe currently holds a postdoctoral position in Developmental Psychology. Snippe completed doctoral training in Health Psychology at the University Medical Center Groningen and subsequently held postdoctoral positions at Maastricht University and in the Department of Psychiatry at the University Medical Center Groningen before moving to the current role. Snippe's research draws on ecological momentary assessment and intensive longitudinal methods to study the dynamics of depression, bipolar disorder, and related conditions, with methodological work encompassing time-series analysis, vector autoregressive modeling, personalized psychological networks, and moderation analysis. Much of this work focuses on identifying early warning signals of symptom change and characterizing how psychological states shift during and after treatment.
