Belén Álvarez

Belén Álvarez is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Psychology at the University of Queensland, where Álvarez has been based since 2023. Álvarez completed the Professional Title of Psychologist at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where Álvarez also worked as Lab Manager in the Social Psychology Lab from 2011 to 2019. Research interests include collective action, social class, group norms, and the psychological dimensions of social media use, including conspiracy beliefs, social isolation, and well-being.
