Olaf Borghi

Olaf Borghi is a PhD candidate in the Department of Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London, where Borghi has been based since 2023. Before joining Royal Holloway, Borghi worked at the University of Vienna from 2020 to 2023. Borghi is also affiliated with the Centre for the Politics of Feelings at the School of Advanced Study, University of London. Research interests include political attitudes, ideology, motivated reasoning, future anxiety among young people, and emotion regulation, with published work examining topics such as pro-democratic motivation, cognitive control and political bias, and the psychological dimensions of mindfulness.
