Olaf Borghi is a PhD candidate in Psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London, where Borghi has been based since 2023, having previously worked at the University of Vienna from 2020 to 2023. Borghi's research addresses political psychology and motivated reasoning, including the relationship between cognitive control and politically motivated reasoning, as well as young people's future anxiety and political attitudes. Additional work has examined mindfulness, perceived stress, and emotional awareness using longitudinal methods.
