Kasheena G. Rogbeer

Kasheeta G. Rogbeer is a researcher in the Department of Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles, where Rogbeer has been employed since 2022. Rogbeer's research examines racial solidarity, inter-minority coalitions, and discrimination, with particular focus on how shared experiences of discrimination shape political behavior and voting intentions among people of color. Rogbeer's work includes experimental investigations of solidarity between Black and Latino Americans, the role of system justification in Asian American racial attitudes, and the effectiveness of historical education in challenging race-based approaches to medicine. Additional research by Rogbeer explores how communications about racial disparities influence public health behavior and the mechanisms through which microaggressions perpetuate systemic racism in the United States.
