Jais Adam-Troian

Jais Adam-Troian is an Assistant Professor at Heriot-Watt University Dubai, where Adam-Troian has been based since 2023. Prior to this appointment, Adam-Troian held positions at the Canadian University of Dubai, Keele University, and the American University of Sharjah. Adam-Troian's research addresses radicalization, political violence, conspiracy beliefs, and propaganda, with work examining how precarity, institutional trust, and obsessive passion contribute to extremist attitudes and behavior. Additional lines of inquiry include misinformation, peace psychology, and the social dynamics of protest and collective action.
