Denny Borsboom

Denny Borsboom is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Amsterdam, where Borsboom has been employed since 1998. Borsboom's research centers on network approaches to psychopathology and psychometrics, with substantial contributions to understanding how psychological symptoms and attributes interconnect as dynamic systems rather than reflecting latent variables. Borsboom's methodological work spans network psychometrics, Ising models, parameter estimation techniques, and applications to clinical phenomena including depression, anxiety, psychosis, insomnia, and autism spectrum disorder.
