Ai Ye

Ai Ye is a quantitative psychologist and statistician trained at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where Ye earned a Ph.D. in Psychology and Neuroscience and an M.S. in Statistics and Operations Research, following earlier graduate study at UCLA. Ye currently serves as Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in the Department of Psychological Methods and Diagnostics at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, a position held since 2022. Ye's research specializes in structural equation modeling, longitudinal and intensive longitudinal methods, machine learning approaches to psychometric models, and network psychometrics, with particular attention to issues of measurement error, omitted variable bias, and causal discovery in dynamic systems. Ye's publications address methodological advances in individual dynamic factor models, power analysis for idiographic clinical trials, and applications spanning developmental psychology, career development, and clinical assessment.
