Ronald Musizvingoza is a postdoctoral fellow at the International Institute for Global Health, United Nations University, where he has been based since 2021 and is currently affiliated with the United Nations University Institute Macau. Musizvingoza holds a PhD in Sociology from Bursa Uludağ University, Turkey, and a BSc Honours in Operations Research and Statistics from the National University of Science and Technology, where he also worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research from 2014 to 2016. Before completing the doctorate, Musizvingoza undertook an internship with the UNDP Istanbul Regional Hub in 2018. Research interests span quantitative and computational methods applied to demography, migration, gender, and health, with published work on topics including digital health inequalities, maternal health service utilization in Africa, COVID-19 demographic data, and the experiences of Sub-Saharan African students in Turkey.
