Cécile Rousseau

Cécile Rousseau is a researcher at McGill University whose work addresses mental health and migration, with a particular emphasis on refugee youth and access to psychiatric care. Rousseau has examined psychological distress in relation to violent radicalization and conspiracy theories, including studies conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional research has explored ideological hybridization, nihilistic violence, and intervention models for violent extremism, including the Quebec model of mental health intervention in this area.
