Arie Perliger

Arie Perliger is a Professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Massachusetts Lowell, where he has been based since 2016. Perliger's research addresses far-right extremism, political violence, and violent ideologies, including work on manifestos and the phenomenon known as salad bar extremism. More recently, Perliger has also contributed to research on misinformation surrounding offshore wind energy in the Gulf of Maine and Southern New England.
